Cutting fiberglass rocks with the Fein Multimaster and their expensive HSS blade- give that one a try. What is the blue resin that you use and which gelcoat product?

Hi! Nice job. I used to work in a fibreglass company. Why You did not used any gloves for this job? Why do You smoke in your workshop? Resin is highly flammable. I think it would be much easier and quicker to cut excess of material while it`s sitll inmould, when it`s still elastic but dry enough so it` not sticky. Cut along the edges, and when you`ll pull it out then finish trimming. Cheers from Poland.

You copy the steel …
You copy the steel part in fiberglass to get your mold….. Say you want a Cowl hood for an MGB sports car…. You mold the scoop to you steel hood…. paint it, make it perfect… then copy it in fiberglass… many Layer…… You pull it off of the steel hood… Now you holding your mold!

Daff what you do is you lay the fiberglass over the hood you have now and itll be bigger than the hood then you make your hood out of the fiberglass u layed over ur hood thats mold making
